Activity Activities include designing and making a variety of puppets including marionette, road puppet, table top puppet or shadow puppets using a variety of materials. Your child will build and assemble their own puppets, decorate and paint the puppet, manipulate the puppet and speak and perform through it. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your child's imagination and confidence in a fun and creative atmosphere. What is the benefit of Puppetry? Puppetry is a highly effective medium that allows the students to creatively improve their reading, writing and communication skills while having fun. It is also increases confidence and creativity. Why Puppetry? The child creates the puppet, and speaks and acts through it. This allows the students the confidence and freedom to be more easily expressive and vocal through the puppet, avoiding typical inhibitions or fear of judgment.
